The LÄSSIG swim shorts with outer material made of polyester (recycled) with UV protection 80 and integrated nappy are an absolute must-have for every bathing trip. In combination with sunscreen and the matching UV shirt and sun hat from the LÄSSIG Splash & Fun collection, the little ones are ideally protected from UV radiation on land or in the water. With the integrated swim nappy, the swimming trunks not only ensure carefree bathing fun, but also offer an environmentally friendly and stylish alternative to disposable nappies.

The cute UV swimming trunks are quick-drying and, thanks to the wide waistband and seamless processing in the crotch, have a comfortable fit and optimal support. The patented, moisture-absorbing lining and insert system of the integrated diaper ensures that children's skin is as dry as possible on land. Moisture is absorbed and locked into the inner lining. Major mishaps are also stopped in the water and after swimming fun, the swimming trunks can be cleaned at 30C on a gentle cycle.

For the outer material of the LÄSSIG swim shorts, plastic was reused and spun into a yarn. The recycled material content corresponds to 3 PET bottles. The calculation is based on an average weight of 17.2g for the PET bottles. This corresponds to 7 PET bottles per meter of woven fabric. With the use of recycled materials and innovative processes as well as the renunciation of animal components, LÄSSIG contributes to the circular economy and protects the earth's resources.

LÄSSIG swim shorts with UV protection of UPF 80 have been tested according to UV STANDARD 801 (Hohenstein).

Instructions for proper application
Exposure to UV rays for too long can lead to sunburn and skin damage. This clothing only protects the covered area, other parts of the body exposed to natural UV radiation must be protected separately, e.g. by applying sunscreen and wearing other UV protective clothing.

The actual protection period of the UV protective clothing depends on the child's skin condition and the intensity of the sun's rays. The declared UV protection can be reduced through normal wear and tear and at the seams. Check clothing regularly for damage and wear and replace if necessary. A repair must be carried out professionally. The durability of the protective clothing is - even without visible damage - 6 years from the production date.

You can find composition, care instructions, size, date of manufacture and UV protection factor on the label sewn into the item. Please store the item dry and protected from light. Wash with chlorine and salt water after each contact. This is UV protective clothing (category I PPE) that meets the basic health and safety requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425, Annex II. The protective clothing meets the requirements of EN ISO 13688:2013, protective clothing - general requirements. The material is tested according to UV Standard 801 (based on AS/NZS 4399:2017).
