The set of 2 silicone pre-spoons from BÉABA® is specially designed for discovering the very beginnings of food diversification. These pre-spoons are intended for use from 4 months, with an adult to help the child become familiar with the spoon and first foods. From 6 to 8 months, they can be used independently to gradually gain autonomy.
Developed in collaboration with a pediatric nutrition specialist and speech therapist, these pre-spoons are ergonomic and suitable for little ones. Their design optimizes grasping, allowing the child to use them in three different ways: palm grip, pincher grip, or fist grip. With short, rounded handles, these pre-spoons are perfectly adapted to small hands, providing a comfortable grip.
The textured tips (wavy and nubbed) are specially designed to optimize food grasping, while the flat tips prevent overloading the spoon, allowing use on both sides without needing to rotate the wrist. The flexible tips are specifically designed to adapt to the child’s needs (the wavy spoon is less flexible than the nubbed version).
Made from 100% silicone, these pre-spoons are soft and safe for babies' sensitive gums, ensuring a feeding experience without the risk of irritation or injury. The symmetrical shape of the pre-spoons allows for ambidextrous use, making them suitable for both left-handed and right-handed children.
