March back over 100 years with me. I'm Winnipeg, a Canadian black bear from White River, Ontario. They say I once stole hearts at the London Zoo and inspired a literary legend. Did my name become world famous?

Elo! I'm called Winnipeg, though most call me “Winnie.” My story began in 1924 when Lieutenant Harry found me at a railway stop in Ontario and brought me to live at the London Zoo. 

In my new home, a certain young visitor named Christopher became especially fond of me and even named his own teddy bear in my honour. Some say that’s where the magic began.

Now I’m stitched as a dark brown plush with nostalgic charm, soft paws, and a storybook spirit meant to be passed down for generations.

Wash separately before use. Warm hand wash or gentle machine wash with like colours, maximum 40°C/ 105°F. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean. Line dry in shade or gentle/low tumble dry. Discontinue use immediately if the item is damaged or frayed.
