Scuttle back over 180 years with me, Thibault, an eccentric plush lobster from 1800s Paris. They say I once belonged to poet Gérard de Nerval, who paraded me through the Palais-Royal on a blue ribbon. Was I poetry in motion?

With a velvet-red shell and a flair for the theatrical, I’m stitched in homage to Nerval’s curious companion. As he famously said, “Why should a lobster be any more ridiculous than a dog?” Touché, non?

Crafted in the spirit of vintage novelties, I bring a pinch of old-world whimsy and heirloom charm. A perfect plush for collectors, conversationalists, and those who treasure history’s most delightful oddities.
