Key Features
What's in the box
Lansinoh® brings you advanced relief with TheraPearl 3-in-1 Breast Therapy®, reusable packs that are latex, lead and BPA free and can be used hot or cold, alone or with a breast pump.
Use Lansinoh® TheraPearl hot to help relieve plugged ducts and mastitis, and when engorged, just before feeding or expressing to help let-down and milk flow. Use cold to relieve pain and swelling due to engorgement or mastitis. It can also be used with a breast pump before or during pumping sessions to reduce the total time spent expressing by encouraging a faster let-down.
Flexible and reusable, Thera°Pearl’s 3-in-1 Breast Therapy packs have soft covers that can be slipped comfortably inside your bra to relieve any discomfort that can be caused by some conditions associated with breastfeeding. BPA, BPS and latex free, they are also shaped to fit around a breast pump to encourage let down and promote faster milk flow. They are non-toxic, hygienic, non-smelly and aesthetically pleasing!
It is recommended that Thera°Pearl 3-in-1 Breast Therapy is applied for 20 minutes at a time, as per medical advice. Once used, it can be cleaned with a mild soap, detergent or alcohol.
Directions
Use Lansinoh® TheraPearl cold to help provide relief from pain and swelling due to engorgement or mastitis. To hold them in place, packs can be placed in a bra.
For heat therapy: Place one pack inside purple cloth cover and microwave lying flat for time indicated in the table (700 Watts – 16 seconds/ 1,000 Watts – 13 seconds/ 1,250 Watts – 11 seconds). Each pack should be heated separately. After heating for 11/13/16 s, open the microwave & check pack temperature. If insufficiently warm, you may add more time in 5 second increments until desired temperature is reached. Always check the temperature at every 5 s interval (i.e. heat for first 5 s, open microwave & check the temperature, heat for next 5 s, open microwave & check the temperature and so on).
*Do not add 5 s without checking the temperature first. As soon as you find the pack comfortably warm to your touch, STOP HEATING IMMEDIATELY. This is at your own discretion. Do not proceed to heat until HOT, you are overheating and damaging the pack. If you accidentally heat your Therapearl® beyond the recommended time and see it inflating like a balloon, immediately turn off your microwave, wait for the pack to cool down, and then carefully dispose of your pack. When in doubt or if your pack shows any signs of deforming, dispose of your pack - a pack that has been overheated should never be reused. If the pack explodes, you have overheated the pack.
For cold therapy: Freeze for at least 2 hours then place into covers before use.
For use with a pump: Heat packs according to heat therapy instructions and wrap around the outside of breast pump funnels, securing with the fastener, while pumping.
