The RECARO Velix 1 accompanies your child from the switch to the forward-facing position – from approx. 15 months (from 76 cm) to around 12 years (150 cm). Developed in Germany, this child car seat is approved to UN ECE R129/04 i-Size and replaces several child seat sizes in one.

From 76 to 105 cm and up to 21 kg, the integrated 5-point harness secures your child, while the seat is fastened with ISOFIX and Top Tether. From 100 cm, the harness is stowed away and the Velix 1 becomes a high-back booster seat: your child is then buckled in with the vehicle's 3-point belt, and the seat stays connected via ISOFIX.

When you raise the headrest, the side wings widen automatically (Dynamic Expandable Side Wings) – so the seat adapts to your child's proportions. The Adaptive Side Protection (ASP) with an optimised side structure helps absorb forces in a side impact and stabilises the seat.

The Height Safety Lock prevents incorrect use: the lower headrest positions are reserved for use with the 5-point harness, while the higher ones are only unlocked for use with the vehicle belt from 100 cm.

In harness mode, the seat can be adjusted with one hand into three recline positions – without waking your sleeping child. Large hexagonal ventilation openings in the backrest shell ensure air circulation, and the removable cover is washable. Weighing only 9.7 kg, the seat is easy to move between vehicles.
